1976 Dodge Monaco Police

Here is a rare Police Package 440 Magnum Dodge Monaco Survivor.
This old Dodge is one of the more rare models with the closing headlight doors. Original white paint over a black all vinyl interior. The previous owner was just starting to convert the interior to blue.
Not my first choice, it needs the front door panels and bench seat, rear package tray and sail panels dyed black at a minimum. It is also missing the front fleet style upper panels in the front only as well as the fleet style front seat. Those are hard to find but do show up from time to time. If I get time I may dye those black for the new owner.
This is a driving, registered car. It drives down the road nice, great brakes. New exhaust with correct factory style tips. A lot of work has been done to it. The headlight door motor does work however there is a clicking sound in the dash relay that needs to be addressed while driving so I have it unplugged for now.
Good glass and great door rubber surrounds, power windows all work, perfect crack free dash pad, nice rubber floor mat, speedo works nice and smooth. Factory am-fm radio is not hooked up. Lower edge of the trunk lid has a little rust through and could be replaced to be perfect.
New fuel pump, Edlebrock 750 carb, distributor, fuel tank with sender, brake booster, power steering pump, alternator, rebuilt oil pressure/temp police package gauge. Someone put a new smaller 2 row radiator in it, at freeway speeds it starts to run hot. In the city and at idle it runs as cool as can be. Will need a nice 4 core in my opinion. The trans leak a bit, seems a little lazy on hills. Not sure if its an adjustment or may need more.
This is a nice driving project car...No rattles or leaks, fires right up. I just dont have the time to focus on it and it needs to be taken to the next level. Bumps, bruise's etc from a life of fleet service. Low miles for a fleet car. still in the mid 64k range. Looks to be accurate but no way to prove it.
Please ask all questions and bid to win on this as is sale.
Thanks and good luck!!
