1973 Dodge D100 Short Bed with Optional Parts Truck.
MECHANICALLY: Truck starts, runs, stops, and drives great. This the ultimate drive while you make it your own truck. Cruises down the highway effortlessly.Equipped with a strong running 318. Edelbrock 4 Brl Carb and aluminum intake. Transmission performs as it should. Always fires right up even after sitting for months. Drips a small amount of oil. (I believe it could new valve cover gaskets) Power Brakes and Power Steering.
BODY: This truck is 100% rust free. Front cab, fenders and hood are in great shape just need a fresh coat of paint. Currently looks good from 20' away but had cheapo paint job and is pealing off in many places. The current bed is from the 1992 D150 parts truck, which is included in the sale. This bed needs lots of work and has many dents and dings. I rattle canned the bed in a Satin blue and sprayed in a bed liner coating. "73 Bed" can be saved if you have some fabricating skills (welding). Tailgate is from the "73" and will need some modifying to work with "92" bed. Bumpers are straight. Grill is nice though missing inner headlight rings.
INTERIOR: Interior is complete but is has some mismatching. Bench seat in OK shape out of Later Model Pickup. Stock steering wheel missing horn center piece. Speedometer works and Gas and other gauges work periodically. (Fuse issue) Carpet is in good shape, dash in ok shape and there is no radio. Heater and Defroster work great.
GLASS:All Glass is in good shape and roll up and vent windows function properly.
WHEEL & TIRES: It has a nice set of 15" Mopar Cop wheels with Poverty caps. Tires are in great shape with lots of life remaining.
CONCLUSION: This is great running and driving truck that can be enjoyed while fixing it up to your liking. I have driven this truck on long road trips with no issues. It has a clean CA title in my name and is currently on Non-op (did not renew insurance) though tags are current till Dec of 19'
PARTS TRUCK: 1992 dodge D150 ex Forrest service truck, 318 5 speed manual Transmission. Truck has and will run but is currently no getting spark. Trans shifts great. Old 73 bed setting on truck now. Clean CA title in Hand on NON-OP. This truck will come with sale if would like it. Perfect parts truck to do a Manual conversion.
