1970 Dodge Charger R/T

GR Auto Gallery is proud to offer this documented 1970 V-Code Dodge Charger to the world market. When it comes to Muscle Cars, the Charger R/T is one of the most revered. The look from the first generation was greatly improved with the new grill, hideaway headlights and a premium price over other B-bodies. Production numbers are low and the performance is high when it comes to the V-code Chargers, making them one of the most sought after muscle cars... on the planet. The car offered here has been in the hands of the same owner since 1982. It has recently been treated to a high quality restoration with huge attention to detail by the well respected "Cuzie Customs" of Detroit, MI. According to the owner, the car is said to be numbers matching with VIN numbers in the proper locations on the engine and transmission. It is powered by its V-Code 440 CID motor fed by 3 two barrel carbs, 727 torqueflite transmission and sure grip rear axle. Factory options included: Automatic transmission, power steering, power front disc brakes, shaded windshield, AM/FM stereo radio, front bucket seats with center console, wood grain steering wheel, drivers side remote chrome mirror, hide-away headlights and road wheels. The car is painted to a show quality standard in its original impact color, Plum Crazy over white interior. The interior is highly restored to factory spec and the engine and engine bay is highly detailed to factory spec and appearance. Only 116 V-Code Chargers were built in 1970 and remains a performance icon. The performance and presentation of this car is amazing. Low production, high quality muscle cars as the one presented here continue to dominate the collector car scene and continue to be solid investments. The 1970 V-code charger here is documented with its fender tag, both original broadcast sheets and all numbers and stamps in place. Miles were re-set at the time of restoration.
