Grab your flannel shirt, lace up your Dr Martens, press play on that Nirvana CD, and take a step back in time with this machine that was one of the coolest cars to ever come out of the 1990's. This is a beautiful example of a future classic, my 1993 Dodge Stealth RT, Twin Turbo AWD 5 speed manual with only 50,616 original miles! A cousin to the Mitsubishi 3000GT, and very similar to the Nissan and Toyota's of the time.
First things first, in my opinion this is one of nicest Stealth's on the planet today. I know these cars fairly well as I've owned 6 over the years. I know the quirks and have addressed anything and everything over my ownership. Even things that weren't wrong, I fixed anyway because I knew that in the next year or two they may become an issue.
The Stealth is finished in a Gloss Red Paint. She shines at any angle, with much depth and gloss. Very Straight. Take a look at the pics, from 10 feet away you can see the reflections of myself, trees, and birds in the sky! Literally a mirror finish. I had the car painted last year, because it wasn't perfect. I have photos prior to painting to show condition. It looks the same in pics but as I said, I wanted it better. Undercarriage is very clean, straight, & finished in black. Southern Car! It's not all cobbled up with Auto Zone rubberized undercoat! No issues, no sloppy patch panels, just all correct!
The car handles like its on rails. The performance and look was way ahead of its time. Keep in mind this was faster than the Mustang Cobra, Corvette LT1, Camaro and Trans Am. No shimmies, shakes, or vibrations. Extremely tight and easy to drive. I would not hesitate to get behind the wheel of this car with my family and drive it across country. She cruises at 65 MPH as it should. A person of any size or age could drive this vehicle comfortably. All of the lights, turn signals, brakes, gauges,etc are functioning properly. Engine fires right up with no smoking, or noises, etc. Turbo works as it should. Has a fantastic sound with Dual Exhaust. Car is turnkey and ready to drive anywhere. The Interior is finished nicely with its original Black seats, carpet, door panels, headliner, and all show extremely well. A ton of money was spent in creating this piece.
