Description:
1947 Dodge Other suicide doors
Well maintained. In the past few years it got the new wide white Firestone tires which cost $2100 including heavy tubes and painting of the wheels. The Dodge received a complete brake job including lines which cost over $3,000. About 50% of the paint appears original. Some paint work done in the 70'S. Has the original flat head six with the fluid drive set-up. Runs very good, shifts very good. Goes down the road nicely, stops good. Body is very solid with very little rust. Rockers are very solid. Trunk and back floors are solid. Body mounts under car are solid. I have the original Manitoba license plate from 1947. All gauges work. Turn signals work. may need some exhaust repair. Restoring the carpet or install new one will make this car a Queen.Car can be use for any occasion - Wedding, Parades, Movies etc. can really be a great money machine.
This Dodge has appeared in a couple movies over it's life time. There were only a little over 1700 of this model produced in 1947. check the pictures. I will gladly take other pictures if needed.
Here is a a video of the Dodge running and moving. Also demonstrated how the fluid drive works. https://youtu.be/f_Ih_gAstPQ
