Best part is its not rusty, truck is from Nevada almost its whole life (see pics of underside)
In the year 1990 these trucks did not come from the factory intercooled but this one has been upgraded with an aftermarket intercooler to keep EGT's down.
Newer rear tire, new fuel filter, Brand new batter, new MBRP 4" Exhaust (stainless) with muffler.
Has Pyrometer installed, Tachometer.
Paint is OK but would need a repaint to be perfect. Some spots have flaked off on one side of the bed, and it looks like areas have been touched up before my ownership.
Starts runs and drives great has tons of potential but also a few mechanical issues:Rear ABS is not working so the ABS light is on and when it gets rainy out the rear tires can skid if brakes are applied hard and no weight in the back of truck.
Stock stereo has power but doesn't seem to turn on.
Leaves a few drops of oil when parked overnight and has some oil around transfer case area.
Heat works great but AC not cold (not a problem where I live)Trans shows signs of mileage, have to take your time when shifting when the truck is cold. It doesn't grind but just feels kind of notchy if you try to force it. There are times where decelerating/engine braking down a hill I've had it pop out of 3rd for some reason. Some Instrument cluster bulbs sometimes don't illuminate well.
Generally It is in good shape for its age. I have some accessories with it that came with the truck.A set of extended camper mirrors.Stock intake charge pipe from turbo to head (removed to install intercooler).
A chrome grill guard / push bar that came with it.
One spare new grill that has not been trimmed to fit intercooler (was going to see if I could make a cleaner setup)
Have recently driven the truck 1300 miles straight with no issues. Its fine to purchase and just drive as is, or great for a restoration due to not having rust like many of these.
