1984 Dodge Ram 3/4 ton, automatic, 8' bed with Custom Fiberglass Cap, 318 5.2L V8 with Holley Carb. Runs strong. Custom Fiberglass cap over the bed. (which is removable). No Leaks. 107,349 miles.
These are hard to find in this condition. It is the perfect candidate for a full restoration.
The 1983-1984 Ram Trucks bodies were hot dipped in galvanized steel which explains the limited amount of surface rust on this truck.
The bed has always been covered and has no rust or dents. The cab floor and rockers have rust but this is a solid truck. It has never been hit. The front and rear bumpers are as straight as the day there were initially installed.
This truck has been well maintained. I have the original owners manual and all of the major services are noted.
Here's a list of the new parts installed in the last 30 days: New Brakes (including emergency cable, master cylinder, and power brake booster ). New metal brake lines to the wheels too. Four brand new Firestone Tires with less than 100 miles on them. Fresh oil Change. New wipers and wiper arm bushings. I will install new spark plugs and wires latter this week. A great work or camping truck. Nice patina on the original paint. Light surface rust on the top of the wheel wells has been touched up. I also cleaned the rust and repainted parts of the frame and rear end. All the gauges and lights work. It also has a new turn signal indicator. The radio works too.
