1971 Dodge Challenger Convertible 440 FUEL INJECTED 4L80 Resto Mod Description Up for auction is one bad to the bone 1971 Challenger 440 resto mod. No expense spared is an understatement. This project started with a rust free donor body which was already an 8 out of a 10. Stripped to bare metal firewall was smoothed, body massaged and a beautiful coat of ppg paint applied. The driveline consists of a brand new 440 Wedge Crate motor with a new 4L80e GM Overdrive transmission. To keep this monster on the road Hotchkiss supplied the suspension and Wilwood provides the stopping power along with the hydo boost stops it on a dime. Under the hood rests the new 440 Blue Print Motor with Holley Fuel injection, headers, Billet Hood hinges March pulley syste, BE Cool radiator, twin fans she runs nice and cool. Narrowed rear end gives this beauty and nice offset for the big wheels.....19x9 Challenger wheels in the front and 20x10 in the rear. Everything on this car is new from fuel tank to American Autowire fuse panel.
The interior received the same love as the body. Custom leather interior with red stitching, 10 speaker Alpine Stereo system, Vinage Air, power steering and one off gauges.
