Pete Tritak's shop, of "War Wagon" drag racing fame, was tasked with the engine built. The engine was balance and blue printed, designed to appear OE Correct on the outside, with internals machined and engineered to kick out 500-600hp on pump gas. The rest of the engine bay sub-assemblies were also restored, using new wiring harnesses, rebuilt wiper motor, master cylinder, etc.
The donor car was chosen because it was a solid specimen to begin with. It was nonetheless taken down to bare metal and built back up again. This included all new seals and soft trim, glass where needed, all stainless, grill and tail trim were also restored at the time of restoration.
The interior is likewise all new, interior panels, soft trim, foams, dash. Gauges, climate controls, and audio accessories were rebuilt, using new wiring harnesses. Everything works.
