1920 Dodge Brothers Touring Car - Original
1920 Dodge Touring Car
Offered here is an unrestored 1920 Dodge Brothers Touring Car. A real survivor. This car belonged to a family friend who purchased it from the original owner in 1957, and I purchased it from the estate last year as the third owner. The car was overpainted in the 1970's, but other than that it is a good straight solid and original, unrestored car. Turns over a little slow on the starter, but fires right up off the crank and runs good. According to our family friend who owned this car for 60 years, the top has never been down on it, and never has been since it was new. The speedometer was removed at some point in time (reason unknown) - see picture. Speedometer says 91205 but I have no idea if that's the original mileage. Interior and top is totally original, and in decent condition considering it is almost 100 years old, but there are some tears. The repaint shows some runs in the passenger side doors. Tires are very old but do hold air. There is one new tire on it. I do have some of the original side curtains for it (not shown).
The car is located just outside of Peterborough Ontario. Buyer is responsible for pick up. 60 days free storage if required. $500 deposit through Paypal required within48 hours. $12K reserve. Cash or certified check accepted for payment. Sale is final.
