1979 Dodge Other Pickups

I have too many vehicles. That means somethings need to go. The first one is this very cool truck.
Its got a 360 with an Edelbrock Air Gap intake, Edelbrock 4bl carb and new Hoooker long tube headers. It sounds like it has a very mild cam in it, but I can't confirm it. It runs strong and cool. It never runs warm. It has manual steering and manual brakes. The 4 speed is an aluminum OD unit. It has a new clutch and completely rebuilt front suspension including van lower control arms which lowers the front about 3 inches. The rear end is a an 8.25 that I flipped so the springs are under the rear axle like a car. This lowered the rear of the truck.
The truck was light blue originally but was painted white a short time before I bought it. Its not a perfect paint job but its good for a driver and it cleans up well. The front bumper has a few dings/dents in it. The rear roll pan is plastic and looks good. The bench seat was refoamed and recovered in a nice vinyl. Its very comfortable and clean, On the dash is an auto meter tach and shift light. All the glass is in good shape.
While the truck is cool and looks good, its not pefect.. The speedo and fuel gauge don't work. The driver side door trim panel is missing. There are some minor scratches.
The truck has new 275/60/15 tires on Mopar steels wheels in rear. The fronts are 225/7015 on matching steel wheels.
Overall, this truck is fun to drive, gets looks and looks cool. It loves to cruise at 75 mph. The steering is not all over the place like so many are. Its tight. Check out the photos.
