Description:
1973 Dodge Challenger rallye
73 rallye challenger originally a 318 rallye but upgraded to a 70 or 71 340 before I got it. I tried to decode its either a 70 or 71 hp version. has its original 323 sure grip rear end. automatic floor shift console. has original ac valve broke years ago does not work but I left all the components intact. has some rust spots here and there been like that for awhile body was redone probably in the early 90s I was told by a previous owner. They used original rust free quarters cut from a western car. but never finished the Trunk it is just sheet metal in there, never did it right and think one patch of sheet metal on drivers floor board. Ive owned for over 20 years and it has just mostly been in storage for the past 8. I used to just take it to local car shows alot. I just have some pictures right now I'll try to add more soon. there is a rust spot on tip of hood, passenger fender is bubbling from old weld repair front of passenger tir, some light bubbles on lower driver side, top back below window some. other imperfections here and there but still looks good or redo it. last time I drove it was about a year ago.It is and original fy1 yellow car with black vinyl top and black strobe stripes. I put a new wiper motor in maybe 15 years ago and never figured out why it didnt work the alt temp oil gauges went haywire awhile back think it may be the voltage limiter box in back. speedo needle broke and jumps around. drivers seat has rip dash has crack original discolor spot under mat on carpet could dye. seats are 70 style put in. has smal oil leak in timing cover I think. and gas leak coming out of vapor lines in front of tank I replaced years ago but dry rotted again. small slip in tranny when under 20 mph sometimes been like that since i got it maybe just be adjustment. with a little TLC will be great again. I put headers on it years ago dual exhaust 2 1/2 in dynomax ultraflow h pipe. edelbrock performer rpm intake and carb high flow fuel pump. rest of engine basically original. The rear tail light lenses I put on nos years ago along with the nose chrome is nos. 3 headlight bezels are triple chrome plated one was nos. rear bumper is repro showing wear the bumperettes on back are triple chromed. front was a 70 rechromed with some wear now flip top was nos. Email me any more questions I think I covered most. Sold as is buyer responsible for pickup wont release until money clears. think the mileage is around 132 but I don't remember haven'tlooked in years I think its around that will try to check soon.ThanksVehicle Details:
