1928 Dodge Victory Six Hot Rod

Okay Hot Rodders!!This is a real steel 1928 Dodge Brothers sedan sitting on the original frame modified to fit the 13 inch body drop. The top has been chopped 8 inches and the top of the roof is 48 inches from the ground.I'm 5'11" and driving it is no problem. It has a newly built 383 Stroker motor with a high lift cam and three brand new Demon 98 carburetors sitting on top.Engine is mated to a 350 Turbo transmission with a mild B&M shift kit.It has an Oldsmobile 4 link rear end with 273 highway gears to make this thing cruise like a dream.I have receipts totaling over $8,000 for the engine, transmission, and custom driveshaft alone. All engine and transmission work was done by a professional shop who has built some of the best hot rods and street rods in northern Colorado. The car also has new brakes and lines all the way around (lines, wheel cylinders, drums, shoes).Brand new 3 1/2" white walls, 8.20 in the back and 6.70 in the front. The car has power windows and shaved door handles.New running lights, gauges, wiring, and custom aluminum radiator built to fit the original grill shell.Sanderson Zoomie headers with baffles (for that real sound) and a B&M shifter. The car starts right up and has never overheated, it will idle in 100 degree temperatures for hours due to the custom radiator and oversized electric fan.It has about 225 miles on it since the build was complete. All of the interior and exterior lights work except for the light on the oil pressure gauge. "Barking Iron Brewing Co." is pinstriped onto both doors over the red satin clear coat."Barking Iron" is a Victorian era slang term for a revolver.Check out the pictures and you'll see that the stance is just right and the style is exactly what old school is about. The car is clean, dependable, and ready for a serious hot rodder.

I have some extras that go along with the car.I have all of the metal garnish molding for the windows (hard to find), but they need to be chopped to fit the windows before you finish the interior. The car does not have seatbelts currently, but I have a Simpson 5 point harness that goes with the car that I was planning on installing on the driver's side, because that would look cool.I also have the original carburetor air cleaners for the Demon 98's if you want more of a traditional look instead of the custom copper pipes.

The reason that I'm selling is that I opened up a brewery and one of the deals with my wife was that the Hot Rod had to be sold if the brewery opened.Fair enough, I only took the car to 4-5 car shows since the car was finished anyway,it just doesn't get out of the garage as much as it should.

This car gets more thumbs up when I'm driving it, and gathers larger crowds around it at car shows than the $60,000 street rods rolling around. You just have to trust me on this. This is your hot rod if you want to be the center of attention.
