Starting with a completely original and low mileage Shelby Daytona. The goal was to make the car look as if Chrysler had built the car from the factory. No expense was spared, and no corners were cut. Only 34k original miles on the car. Originally equipped with a 3.0L v6 and automatic transmission, this Daytona now sports a brand new rebuilt 5.7 Hemi based 392 cubic inch stroker Hemi v8. Eagle forged rotating assembly, Edelbrock cylinder heads, Crower camshaft, and a 6.1 Hemi intake manifold. Well over 500 horsepower dyno proven. Backed up by a Tremec TR6060 6 speed manual transmission, and independent rear. The rear suspension is a factory unit out of a 2008 Dodge Charger that has been modified to fit in the rear of the Daytona. Independent setup, with large disc brakes. Everything works in the car as it should. Factory air conditioning, heat, and all gauges operate like factory. The car is an absolute blast to drive, and draws a lot of attention at car shows. I wouldn't be afraid to drive the car across the country. I've never seen so many people on their hands and knees looking under a car in my life. It's a real head scratcher for most who see the car up close. You wont find another Daytona in this nice of condition, let alone with a Hemi under the hood anywhere! I may also consider trades.
