1968 Dodge Coronet 440

This 1968 Dodge Coronet started life as a F8 green Coronet 440 Post Coupe 318 three speed on the column. Today this car is a 1968 Sublime Superbee Clone with a aluminum head 383 with a 4 speed on the floor and Hurst ball shifter and a Dana 60 3:54 suregrip rear. I purchased this car about 10 years ago from a man in TN. When I purchased it was just a roller that needed quarter panels and floors, the trunk and frame rails were is great shape. the quarter panels and paint were done professionally by a well reputable body shop. A painless wire kit was installed and it was a pain. The suspension has upper tubular and lower boxed arms with new firm ride torsion bars. on the rear are heavy duty leaf springs purchased from Mancinni Racing. The brakes are power with for wheel disc which makes this car stop great. The four speed transmission was build by Passon Performance who is very well known for the quality of their rebuilds. The rear is a Dana 60 from a Dodge 2500 that has been narrowed and got new axles from Dr Diff, the ring and pinion was replaced with a 3:54 ratio and was rebuilt in doing so. For power is a 383 that has been punched .40 over 440 source aluminum heads with 1.6 roller rockers Keith Black 10.5 to 1 pistons. The cam is mild street cam and performs great on the street the carb is a Summit brand card that is manual choke and is 750 cfm. This 1968 Coronet Post Coupe is a turn key car that drives strait down the road with at least 30psi oil pressure and 175 coolant temp due to the 3 row radiator with electric fan. The Bad about this car is the speedo doesn't work do to a bad cable the fuel gauge doesn't work even though it has a new tank and sending unit. There are some scratches here and there but nothing major. Please Email me with your interests and I will try to answer as soon as I can.
