Description:

1972 Dodge Charger Rallye

1972 Dodge Charger Rallye. This is a very rare car as it's 1 of 165 produced with a 440 Magnum, 4-Speed transmission, and Trac Pac (Dana 60 w/3:54 gear ratio) rear end. It retains its numbers matching drivetrain.
The Charger Rallye package replaced the R/T and 500 models in 1972. It mandated its own grille, Power Bulge hood, louvered taillamps, and simulated door louvers.
This car is F7 green with a green bucket seat interior with console and "Pistol Grip" shifter. The interior is original except for the new Legendary seat covers (and front seat buns). The Rallye dash has a 150 MPH speedometer and tachometer. It has an A/M radio and rear defroster.
It has power steering (with rare cooler), manual drum brakes, front and rear sway bars, new shocks, new (150 miles) BF Goodrich Radial T/As P255/60R15 on 15x7" Rallye wheels.
It had a cosmetic restoration 4 years ago that included paint (engine compartment is original and has not been painted), new vinyl top (original was white), all stainless trim polished, bumpers re-chromed, and new windshield.
Never been in an accident.
This is a great running and driving car.
Although it wasn't driven much in the 8+ years I've owned this car, it was recognized by Muscle Car Magazine for being one of "The 25 Most Bitchin Muscle Cars of the 2015 Woodward Cruise" and won a best of show in its class at a local Mopar show.
