Description:
1968 Dodge Charger SE
Up for auction is a 1968 Dodge Charger originally came with a 383 motor The 383 is all together and sitting on an engine stand all ready to go except for the heads. It needs a new set of heads which are $400 at AutoZone unless you want to put aluminum heads on it which that's what I was planning on doing. This also comes with the 727 torqueflite transmission that bolts up to the Big Blocks and of course a posi rear end that has two aluminum 200s American Racing rims that are brand-new on it with two brand-new Goodyear 60s tires. This car is also All Steel!!! I spent at least three to five grand just in the steel parts and that doesn't include the welding labor it took to put them in. The steel parts that have been welded in and installed include: new inner fenders, new frame rails, new trunk pans, new trunk pan extensions, new quarter panels, new Shackle mounts, new heavy duty leaf springs, a new tail panel, and new Corner caps everything's been welding on except for the tail panel and Corner caps it's also been coated in POR 15 inside and out all the way from the front to the back except for the outer body which needs autobody. so all underneath and all inside the cabin area was coated to stop and prevent all rust and also has all brand new interior for it including carpet and all new interior door and trim panels and a gauge cluster as well as all new seat covers. the racing seats in the pictures doesn't come with it unless you want them and want to pay just a little extra. They are Megan Racing seats which I paid over $500 for those seats but I have the original buckets and new seat covers for them. there is so much money that has been put into this car even the starting bid doesn't even cover a small fraction of it. this thing has almost new everything and also has a new aluminum champion radiator new Holly headers that bolt up to the Big Blocks it also has a $500 go Wing spoiler that was purchased from Paddock that's installed on the back deck lid it and the front grill is perfect and has the Hideaway headlights. This car was almost ready for to drive and for the auto body to begin however my daughter was born and my priorities shifted quite literally overnight and I just have never gotten back to it so my loss your gain but every part is there and just needs buttoned up and iron out a few of the normal Kinks and it will be finalized and finished and ready to drive and enjoy which won't take 2 much It's so close but honestly I don't have the time or the energy to be able to focus on it enough to finalize and complete it. So my loss your gain but this is definitely without a doubt a diamond in the rough. All the hard work been doneVehicle Details:
