1971 Dodge Challenger R/T

What we have here is a 1971 Dodge Challenger R/T 440-6, 4 Speed, 4:10 Dana Super Track Pak. 1 of 129 built. This car is 100% numbers matching, dash, door, core, cowl, engine and trans. Has the original fender tag, ( 1 ) full build sheet from behind rear seat, ( 1 ) full build sheet from under passenger bucket and ( 1 ) Left bottom corner of a build sheet, mark rear cassettethat was tape to the top of the glove box. I know the history on the car back to 1977 when it was purchased off a used car lot here in Fairbanks. Some where between '71 and '77 it had the left rear quarter replaced and it was painted burgundy, engine compartment painted black and the engine, trans and rear diff was painted yellow. The gentleman I purchase the car from started to clean it up and painted the diff and the bottom of thecar black. He also rebuilt the front suspension, the brakes and replaced the fuel tank. He did save the original calipers, which I do have. The car is very, very solid with only surface rust. There is a hole under the heal of the accelerator pedal, but the rest of the floors are rock solid as well as the cowl, rails, rockers, trunk, quarters, etc. The left rear quarter will need to be replacedagain, as it was a 1970's body man special. The only original hard parts that was missing, was the intake, air cleaner, carbs, distributor, exhaust manifolds and wheels when I purchased. It has a set of date code correct repo exhaust manifolds on the car now. This car came with E60-15 tires on black wheels with poverty caps.The car does have a '70 spoiler, which has also been on the car since purchase in '77.I did start the car when I purchased it, motor sounded fine, no leaks or issue's. There was no exhaust on the car when I acquired and none has been added, just manifolds. Since then I removed a heat surgically pump that was on it for the cold weather, pulled the hoses and I drained all the coolant from the block and radiator before I stored it. The interior is complete except the right door panel was missing when I purchased. I have acquired a large amount of parts over the years that the buyer of the car has first chance to purchase if interested.I was going to do a full restoration, butlife brings changes. These cars are gettingextremely hard to findcomplete. To find one all matching numbers, fender tag, two build sheets, corner of a third build sheet and history on the car is investment grade.This would be a great project that will be a beautiful car when done.This is a NO B.S car and if your serious and have questions, please drop me note.
