1970 Dodge Challenger RT

1970 Challenger RT Convertible(JS27U0B), 440-4, auto, *1 of 163 U-code RT convertibles built in '70. Special Order car(Y39), this is the ONLY paint code "999" RT convertible known to exist! Silver w/ black interior, top and tail stripe. 27k original miles, all original body panels, original road wheels(pictured with 15x7 rally's), original interior (dash, door panels, seat covers, console, carpet, wood grain, etc). True survivor except for a repaint back in the late 80's. Motor has never been out. Car has never been apart. Slapstick auto, 3:23 sure-grip, ps, pb, pt, console, rally dash, hood pins, original road wheels. Matching numbers motor (correct tranny, but not numbers) and all correct body numbers, original build sheet, fender tag, dealer invoice, title and Galen registry information. Car runs and drives like a true low mile survivor. Super rare, 440 convert that is truly 1 of 1 built.

One original seat cover has a split, the other is excellent. Dash has the typical crack stemming from the speaker. Both very lower quarters are showing some bubbling, as are a couple of small spots in engine compartment. But car was originally undercoated and z-barted by the dealership (as reflected on the original invoice) and is very solid overall without rust issues. There are some typical cracks and blemishes in the paint, which is expected from 30+ year old paint job.
