This Charger belonged to a southern California business man that retired to Las Vegas. The car was taken Las Vegas and stored with a few others he had in collection. The car sat stored and mostly forgot about until his health diminished where the family stepped in to take of him in retirement. All of the cars were sold including this car that I was lucky enough to get my hands on. The car runs and drives, it will need to be gone thru since it has been sitting for so many years (replace the hoses and fluids and so on).
The car has been repainted once before prior to the 90's and while she cleaned up very well in my opinion she needs to be repainted. There is minor rust around the back window and the trunk pan as the Chargers are susceptible to. The vinyl top will need to be replaced. Most all of the car is original and anything that was replaced the prior own made sure to use factory correct parts. The engine compartment in this car is amazing in that it retains all of it originality. Even the cruise control is still there. The car has its original glass still.
The interior is in great condition as you can see from the picture. The seats were recovered and they look brand new. The car is equipped with AC and all of the factory control and engine compartment parts are still there. The AC clutch is still works great and of course it will need a recharge.
Things like the hide-a-way headlights work great still after all these years. A true statement to the easy life this car had.
This is a great opportunity to own a piece of history. The car is loaded with great options and some of them making it truly rare.
