1967 Dodge A108 Van

A virtually 99% rust free Dodge A108 van. This van was converted into a Campwagon by the Cortez company back in the day and was very popular in it's time.
Hard to find these in any shape at all!!! This one is really solid as most rotted away.
The pictures do speak for themselves. This longer 108 wheelbase first became available in 1967.Has the extra room inside as well as another window.
Optioned very nicely with the chrome bumpers and the bigger 318 V8, 727 automatic transmission. The 50 hp VW vans were wheezerscompared to the high compression Mopar V8 power plant.
Once the top is popped open a person up to 6'1 can stand tall with no issue's.
The van is outfitted with a hand pump faucet, sink, and icebox, hammock and bench seat folds down into a bed. The original propane cooktop is gone but can be easily replaced and the extra underneath side storage can fit the propane tank and extra supplies with ample room. The rear area has its own additional house battery and lighting for those summer nights.
The 318 has been fitted with the Holley throttle body injection and is a really nice upgrade.Manual steering and brakes. The original A.M. radio works great as do the windsheild wipers, blinkers, horn.
The original rubber door seals, rubber floor mat are all there and in great shape. All the glass is good. The original side awning is included and needs some attention.
This van is a daily driver with less than 60k original miles.
That being said it is not perfect and does show its age. The interior is all original and really should be redone at some point. The canvas pop top also should begone through. Bumps and bruises here and there and minor rust scale on the lower rockers.
Just depends on what you are looking for. Full resto or drive as is!!!!
