I am regretfully selling this beloved piece of my personal collection . Due to a recent divorce someone else will get to enjoy this stunning 1973 Dodge Challenger. If I weren't being forced to put this on the market, it wouldn't be for sale. This car is an immaculate, slick show winner that can also be taken to the strip to put down impressive numbers.
Extremely fast with approximately 500 horsepower! Over $7,800 spent on engine rebuild alone! This '73 is powered by a 440 engine professionally built with Keith Black pistons, Crowler cam, Edelbrock manifold, Holley 850 double pumper carburetor, Griffin aluminum radiator, hooker headers, and MSD Ignition. The rest of the drivetrain consists of a 727 torque flight transmission with ratchet shift kit, reverse drive gear, and a 3000 stall converter. The exhaust is 3" all the way back with Flowmaster mufflers. The rear tires grab hard thanks to the 8 3/4 Positraction rear end with 390 gears. Adjustable rear air shocks so ride height can be changed to your liking. 15" Billet Specialties polished wheels wrapped in Mickey Thompson ET Street S/S tires on the rear.
The $9,300 paint job consists of 4 coats of basecoat and 5 coats of clear. The vinyl top has no rips or tears and looks gorgeous. The interior look has been kept completely stock except for the ratchet shifter and Autometer tachometer. All gauges are fully functional.
