This auction is for a beautiful and rare 1929 Dodge Bros 5 Window Model DA Deluxe Rumble Seat Coupe with dual side mounts. The car is all steel construction with very little wood compared to a Model A Ford or GM vehicle . A gentleman up Maine had this in his collection of vehicles until he recently passed away. He purchased this car from the original owner in 1940. I have the original owners manual. The car was undergoing a complete nut and bolt frame off restoration when he passed. This was a super nice original car to start with. The fenders areamazinglylike brand new, never used. Body is extremely nice as is all the rest of the metal on the car. There are two small dings on the passenger side lower portion as something fell up against it (very minor). Some chrome was sent out and most other pieces replaced with new. Looks like he would purchase N.O.S parts when ever he could. There are also double of some items. I was told he went through the complete running gear of the car but have no receipts. Frame is all painted all new lines have been run. Was told he had the motor running a few years ago. Radiator appears new. Have many new electrical components beside the originals. Brakes were all done. Six brand new wide white wall tires with tubes. All six wire wheels were sand blasted and painted even the split rim rings were chromed. All new N.O.S wood flooring front to back. Tray that goes under the seat for storage is new. All Dodge Bros hubcaps werere chromed. Ihave a new wood grained trim piece for the dash. When I got the car it was mostly apart so I bolted most of it back together properly for shipment. Probably will need a littletweakinghere and there but a lot of the hard work is done. I have a lot of other parts for the car that will need to be installed so I will box them up and put them in the car. I do have both vent doors for the lower cowl, both beautiful step plates with dodgeinsignia s, locking mechanisms for both dual side mount wheels, new stone guard for radiator,re chromedfront bumper, reconditioned horn, all four sections of the hood, top 2 are painted and two toned like the car, sides are just in primer, alum trim pieces for trunk, cast iron trunk rack, dash gage insert, garnish moldings, glass for patterns,window windup mechanisms, door handles, new roof material and many other items. I am missing the seat and a few other misc parts. Best to call as I have a list of what I have. This would be a beautiful car to finish or dare I say anexcellentbasis for a street rod. If you need a title in your state we will register the car and with that and our dealer paper work you will receive a title.
