ORIGINAL PAINT!
Registered on the 1970 Charger Registry and 1 of 2 register in color options, 1 of 1 registered with radio group
I am only selling this car because my tastes have changed and currently looking for a 71-72 HP 4 Speed Road Runner. I built this with the highest quality parts available that are OEM or exceeded OEM specs.
There is not one old seal gasket or bearing in this car. Only that has to be done is the sheet metal/body work! This car is drivable, rides like a new car. Power Steering gear box leaks on the top seal but the power
steering feels like new. New wiring front to tail from M&H Electric.
Car was built in St Louis on May 25 1970, it came from Eastern Shore, Va and I am the 3rd Owner. Car only has 144k original miles.
Original Options:
383 HP Magnum, 727 Heavy Duty Transmission, Go Mango Exterior, Charcoal and Black Interior, Black Vynl Top, Basic Radio Group, Power Brakes, Console w/Wood Grain, Bucket Seats, Left Hand Mirror,
Air Conditioning, 3 Speed Wipers, Max Cool, etc.
Body has not been touched, except for the firewall was stripped and primed. Will need trunk floor, quarter panels and tail panel section, front frame rails are pretty good, very tail of the rear frame rails are crusty but still solid.
They possibly could be salvaged. Floor pans are solid minus a spot on the front driver side pan. Car is solid for its age and abuse. THE CAR IS NOT TWISTED, WARPED, AND IS VERY STRAIGHT. Body of
course has its dents and dings. New Windshield and gasket! NEW Magnum 500s and New BF Goodrich T/As!
Front suspension is competely new: upper control arms, ball joints, idler arm, tie rods, disc brake converison, spindles, rotors, calipers, brake hoses, brake lines.
Rearend/Rear Suspension: Original to the car 8 3/4 with 489 casting, new Doctor Diff Sure grip unit, Richmond 3.91 Gears, NEW Mopar Proformance Heavy Duty Leaf Springs and Shackles, 10" Drums
(completely guted, rebuilt, new springs adjuster, new shoes, new wheel cylnders,) New drums, New Emergency brake cable, New UJoints, NOS UBolts. Rearend was cleaned repainted and factory
markings applied.
Drive Train: 1973 400 4bbl (was told it was a Police Interceptor, 1969 B-Body HP 727 Heavy Duty Transmission, B&M 2400 Stall Converter
What Has been done to the Engine/Transmission:
Engine was rebuilt in 80s with very low miles and was checked over before assembly.
Engine was gone through, all new gaskets, 902 heads rebuilt, Summit Racing 440 Magnum equivilent cam, new Mopar rockers, new Comp Cams Lifters. This motor runs strong and dependable. Does have a header tick but is common with these shorty headers
new, harmonic balancer, does not use oil or blow smoke.
Mopar Electronic ignition, MSD Coil, New Holley 750 CFM 4160, New Edelbrock Proformer RPM Intake, New Water pump, New Melling Oil Pump, New Fuel Pump Etc.
Transmission was rebuilt with a mild shift kit, new seals, gaskets, clutch packs, etc.
NEW OEM Style Aluminum 4 Core 26" Radiator, New 3/8" Fuel Line Front to rear, new sending unit, comes with new fuel tank, New Transmission Cooling Lines, New Battery, New Battery Tray, New Brake Master

repainted and reinstalled. Steering column restored, New Fender tag but comes with the crusty original. I have the original AM radio to go with the car and a excellent shape original gauge bezel.
Drivers Seat since being reupholstered right side bracket has bent or possibly this will need to be repaired since these are the original seat frames
What doesnt work: Wiper Motor, Dash Clock, Speedometer might need a new cable, and heat is not hooked up. I dont have the factory AC parts.
