Description:

1968 Dodge Charger

This is a TRIPLE BLACK 1968 Dodge Charger R/T. This is a true RT XS29L code car. THIS IS AN ORIGINAL 4-SPEED CAR. When I had the floors replaced I used the original 4-speed hump in the car. The car has what I believe to be the original 440 engine in it. The block is date coded 1967 but is stamped D440 HP on the top pad. In 67 they did not do the VIN pad on the block but they started to in 1968. 1968 did not have all engines stamped with the VIN even though they should have. The motor runs great and strong. New Dual exhaust and brand new 4-wheel power disc brakes. The car also has power steering. Brand new red bushings in the front. Engine compartment looks great. New shocks all around. New gas tank and filler cap. New vinyl top. Brand new 20” rims in the back and 18” rims in the front. Tires are Goodyear Eagles. The car has a base/clear paint job on it that looks amazing. Brand new butt stripe. The car was completely taken apart when it was painted. All chrome and front and back windows were stripped out of the car. The car has new bumpers wheel well moldings emblems windshield lock kit handles. The car looks great. The grill looks amazing on this car The interior of the car is very good looking It has new seat covers carpet sill plates door panels arm rest pads/bases dash pad and all weatherstripping is new. Dash was redone and looks great. Bright white factory gauges. Steering wheel is original and correct. Windows roll up where they are supposed to go. Not many of these Chargers left anymore. No rust drive to a car show. If this car was overseas it would bring huge money. Alot of money and time where spent on this car but hey they do not get cooler than this!! The car is for sale locally so it may get sold before the auction ends.
