Truck

1994 Dodge Dakota 4 Wheel Drive, Extended Cab, Air Conditioning(Needs charged), Power Windows, Power Locks, Tilt.

Transmission

NV4500HD 5 Speed Manual. Less than 10,000 miles on fresh rebuild. Newer removable shift tower, upgraded 5th gear lock nut and upgraded main shaft.

Transfer Case

Factory NV231 (2H,4H,N,4L) this transfer case has been checked by a transmission shop twice and is working great. Transmission shop upgraded the input shaft to accept the NV4500HD Transmission.

Clutch

Stock Clutch for a ¾ or 1 ton Dodge Ram with the 6BT diesel. This clutch has been great and is very enjoyable for day to day driver (less than 10,000 miles, installed with 5 speed transmission)

Engine

1994 Cummins 4BT Turbo Diesel (yes the years match). This is a Bosch VE Pump Engine. Every part of this engine has been completely gone through.

  • Large Capacity Radiator, Aluminum Dual 1" Core, Double Pass (I don’t ever remember the fan engaging)

  • Custom Aluminum Fan Shroud

  • 12V Mechanical fan

Truck

  • All Stainless Steel Brake Lines
  • Nylon Fuel Lines
  • Heavy Duty Front Bumper with 2” Receiver
  • Black diamond plate tool box
  • Dynamat Sound Dampener (Entire Cab, Doors, and Roof)
  • Paint (Charcoal Mist Metallic) Not a show paint job!
  • Trailer Brake Controller
  • 2 Batteries (Batteries are out of the way, mounted in the driver’s side of the tool box)
  • POR15 Rust Inhibitor (Entire frame, under side of the truck, inside doors and inside the tailgate)
  • 2" Suspension Lift (2" Steel Spacers in rear, 2" Torsion Keys in front)
  • Heavy duty V-8 Torsion Bars
  • 2" Body Lift (Needed to clear the Engine)
  • Tinted Windows (5% rear, 20% Front)
  • Tow Package with Brake Controller
  • Alpine CD player with Alpine Speaker

This is an awesome truck. I built this truck because I wanted a 4 wheel drive, daily driver, that was fuel efficient and had very little maintenance items that could go wrong, and man did I nail it with this truck. It is all mechanical with no computer or unnecessary electronic stuff to go wrong. I use this truck to drive to work, use around the farm and to tow my 18’ car trailer. It does a great job and it’s awesome on fuel. Please also be aware this is not a new or show truck. It wasn’t originally designed to be, but it could be with the right persons help. I have put 40,000 miles on this truck and driven it three states away from my home several times.
