a Hemi!

The term show or go is used loosely from time to time and frankly, we do not know which one better describes this 1970 Dodge Charger R/T. First let us start off by saying this is a real R/T XS29 and was born with a high performance U code 440 engine but is now powered by a 472/530horse crate engine. The builder of this Charger picked the right car and made it one of the UNGODLY R/T in existence. Over $100k was invested in the build of this ultimate machine and when you see it and hear it up close, you will definitely believe it. This vehicle was featured in magazines and has won plenty of trophies. Please read on about this car and find out, other than the obvious, what makes it so special.

Exterior:

As you can tell from the pictures this R/T presents in show quality. Finished in Lamborghini pearl yellow that certainly makes it an eye catcher. The body is straight and panel fitment is excellent. The body is rust free as well. The vehicle has all glass, no plexi-glass. The cowl hood was custom fit to reverse open, looks great for shows. The car also has a custom fit and design grill with lighting behind the car. The rear has been tubbed for large racing tires and wheels. Shut off installed in rear along with hidden trunk release. Please look at the pictures and let us know of any questions you may have.

Interior:

As you can see from the pictures the interior is completely custom and set up for NHRA racing. It is NHRA certified but has never been raced. NHRA roll cage was built and wrapped in leather. Custom piping in the rear around the tub. Racing seats. Power windows work and a complete set of competition gauges. Please look at the interior pictures and let us know of any questions.

Drive-Train:

The engine is 472 Hemi producing well over 500 horse. 4 wheel disc brakes are by Wilwood. The tranny is a Turbo 400 with a Dana 60 rear with 4:10 gears. The suspension is coil over. The car was NEVER RACED and has only 1600 miles which were truly just show miles. The car is street legal and ready to go. The sound of this car is awesome. There will be no dissapointments.

In summation, if you’re looking for a car that will stop the show, this is it. You’re in a class of your own. If you want to take it to a show, then to the race track after, this car is for you. Not only did you start off with such a great, desirable car..(Factory R/T w/440), you have have someone who has already all the work for you but leaves you a blank canvas to slightly or eventually make it your own. Please call us with questions!!
