1964 Dodge Polara 500
3 owner rust free beauty. Have documentation back to the Chrysler thank you letter to the original owner and interesting records starting with his first gas fill in January 1964. Current drive train highlights: 30 over (TRW 10:1) 440 with aluminum Edelbrock Performance heads & intake, Holley 770 Street Avenger, MP .509 cam, MP electronic ignition; TTI chrome headers and full 3' exhaust. All dyno tuned, and makes 504 foot pounds of torque at the rear tires. The engine sits on a E-body K frame that includes E-body torsion bars and A-body front disc brakes. KYB gas shocks in all four corners. The transmission is a performance built 727 with a Gear Vendors overdrive running out to a 8-3/4 Yukon geared 3:91 Sure-Grip. Legendary provided NOS materials for the seats and door panels while the interior was professional done by Cliff Avenue Upholstery out of Sioux Falls, SD. Lastly, there was an article on this Polara in the December 2009 Mopar Enthusiast with the second owner. Otherwise, too much to list.
