For your consideration is a gorgeous and very rare 1968 Dodge Charger 2 door Hardtop equipped just how you want with a 440 Big Block V8 Engine, 727 Automatic Transmission, Power Steering and Power Brakes. The car was born a turquoise 318 car. Over the years, it’s been tastefully upgraded to an era correct 440 and repainted Yellow. The Paint is beautiful and shines at any angle with much depth and gloss. In person, it looks great and is consistent with a very clean respectable driver quality classic automobile. No rust paint bubbles, cracks, nicks, digs, dents, stone chips, etc. The undercarriage is extremely clean with very solid, straight, surface rust free frame & floor boards. A thin layer of undercoat is present which is consistent with a factory application. Bumpers, chrome and stainless, still show very well. Trunk pan is very solid, and finished with trunk splatter paint. Lower quarters were installed a number of years ago, and the work was done well.

It rides, drives, and handles like a dream; straight down the road with no shimmies, shakes, or vibrations. Extremely tight, a pleasure to drive, and easy to maneuver with the power steering and brakes. The Charger has a great fit with everything lining up very well; doors, trunk, hood, etc. The doors have that distinct sound as you close them. You car guys know what I’m talking about! All of the lights, turn signals, brakes, gauges, windows, are functioning properly. Headlight doors function as they should. Engine fires right up and has a fantastic rumble with Dual Exhaust accompanied by Dynomax Mufflers. Car has just been serviced and ready to go! I would not hesitate to get behind the wheel of this car with my family and drive it anywhere. The Black Interior had been all redone a number of years ago with new seat covers, foam, door panels, etc, and shows very well. No rips or tears in the seats, headliner & carpet is bright and crisp. All of the weather strips, felts, gaskets, rubbers, etc show as a higher end driver quality car should. It was a North Carolina and Florida car, so the exposure to winter was minimal. Please note, the car retains RT badges, but is not a factory RT due to its XP VIN Number. Below is a breakdown of the car:
