All chrome and stainless trim and emblems were either polished, re-chromed or replaced with new. Original bumpers were removed, stripped and re-chromed (triple plated). Car retains its original glass and has new seals and weather-stripping throughout. Undercarriage was undercoated lightly. PERFORMANCE: The 318 motor has been replaced with a BUILT 383, bored and stroked to 434ci with 10:1 compression. New lifters and a larger cam and electronic ignition were also fitted. High performance intake manifold and Edelbrock 750 carb now feeds the powerful American Iron. Cooling comes from a Mopar Big-block 22” direct fit aluminum radiator and electric fan kit –a new engine fan is also in place. An all-new wiring harness was installed. OEM remanufactured power steering pump and alternator were used. The rear axle is a NEWLY REBUILT Mopar 8 ¾ with Sure Grip posi 3.91 gearing. A 4-wheel disc brake conversion was fitted with new lines, hoses and cables. Rear suspension and front suspension were completely rebuilt using new parts such as springs, shocks, ball joints and steering components. New MOPAR Magnum 15” wheels with Kelly Charger raised-white-letter radial tires. Headlight door motors were replaced with new as were most plugs and harnesses. INTERIOR is all new or redone. Meticulously restored, replaced and polished bright work throughout gauges and factory AM radio with an FM conversion sit inside the refinished dash. Seats were re-covered with new vinyl to match original appearance. Center console and door panel inserts were repainted and refinished to factory colors. A new carpet kit and headliner was also installed. A multiple SHOW WINNER, this restored MOPAR is ready for a proud, new owner to enjoy.
