Description:

1940 Dodge Power Wagon

Am relisting the truck because original listing had errors Know nothing about power wagons and very little about this truck Know power wagons did not exist until much later so power wagon is used as a descriptive term and not as a model designation. This truck with a little work would make a nice driver Bought it to work on but home owners assn. will not all me to work on it if it can be seen from the street . Truck evidently had the cab changed to a 40"s chev at some time. prob started life as an open cab. Truck has surface rust but no cancer.that I see. Has original gas tank with dents and leaks, aux gas tank in bed Does not need extensive body work 2 dents on passenger side cab near top. Running boards have several bends that can be remove, other minor dents and dings but nothing major. truck is 76 years old . Has 1969 plymouth steering column with saginaw power steering, has m2 Braden winch and 12 volt alternator. Truck starts, has new starter and points and condenser. (engine sounds pretty quiet) and moves under its own power. Floor board have no rust. Truck can only be stopped with emergency brake. Brake cylinders leak quite a bit on front wheels. Know nothing of condition of running gear. engine starts, transmission shifts and rear end is not locked u, other than that know nothing. Truck is sold as is where is. No warranties stated or implied .You buy it you own i, no returns for any reason. Would prefer that you come and inspect it before purchase. Truck is what it is . photos are part of description. Truck at this time is not road worthy. Buyer beware or as my old teacher said Caveat Emptor
