For your consideration is a Southern California virtually rust free 1962 Dodge Polara (88,000 original miles) with rock solid frame, floor boards, and trunk pan. Very straight body with minimal rust and great all original glass with no scratches. There is only small rust at the bottom of passenger fender and on top of the hood in two areas (see pictures). All chrome is good, and all stainless trim is good and intact – nothing missing. Under the hood is a 361 HP(4 bbl.) big block, starts and runs great(new points, condenser, and rotor), push button 727 automatic, 8 ¾ rear end with sure grip, power steering and power brakes with new master cylinder. Interior needs some attention – carpet and headliner only, but all there including bucket seats with console and all seat belts.Dash and instrument panel is complete temp gauge works, but have not tested all gauges for working condition yet. The horn and original am pushbutton radio work! Also, original 14”wheels and spinner hubcaps with brand new tires. Has original owner manual and many registrations.This was a one owner car (Naval Officer and stored most of its life) until he passed andis an excellent driver quality car, and excellent find for restoration project.
