For sale a 1965 Coronet 500 convertible factory black with gold and white interior, white top survivor in excellent original condition. 44,573 original miles on rust free Eastern Washington car parked in 1975 in a shed until I found it 8 years ago. Dealer installed 426 4 barrel dual exhaust street wedge car with heavy duty suspension including 11 inch brakes, heavy duty torsion bars and leaf springs, front anti sway bar and 3.23 sure-grip rear end. Everything is date coded correct 1965 including A426 HP engine and A833 4 speed ball and trunion trans which were rebuilt along with front and rear brakes to get it running and driving again and it drives great with tons of power. Carb, radiator, gas tank and all gauges were rebuilt. It shifts good and goes down the road great. Everything works. It even has the original Goodyear Power Cushion 7.75 14 bias tires on it dated 1967 along with original spare. Mostly original paint which is decent but it does have scratches and dings. The interior is in very nice original condition with a couple of minor tears on drivers seat and some stains. This Coronet runs and drives like a new car. Doors shut tight along with hood and deck lid indicative of 44000 mile car. Original top goes up and down perfect and I am including a new Legendary white top, boot and well as the original is old and should be replaced. Car has some nice options including power steering, power brakes, power top, factory console with tachometer, am fm radio, clock, bumper guards, seat belts and trunk light. Absolutely no rust anywhere even trunk looks like new. If you like the early 62-5 B Body's, you will never find another car like this one.
