This is a very nice, rock solid 1966 Dodge Dart 270 Convertible. The car was bought new in Portland OR, it is an original Oregon Blue Plate car and still has the original certicard under the hood. The odometer shows 34,852 but has 134,852 miles since new. We got the car from the 3rd owner that has owned the Dart since 1988. This Dart convertible has a completely rebuilt hi-performance 273 cu-in V8 withapporx. 50 miles since rebuild and the rest of the running gear has only 1700 miles. The body is as solid as they come and has mostley original paint, theupholstery is all newas well as thepower convertible top. EXTERIOR: Very nice very solid body, mostley original paint with a few small dents, new power top, glass, chrome and stainless all in good condition, very solid Oregon car. INTERIOR; All new, 2 tone blue, new door panels, original arm rests, new dash pad, the rest of the dash is uncut and original, new carpet, original am radio still works. ENGINE COMPARTMENT; Very nice, very clean, looks stock and original. Has the original Certicard in slot under hood. Completely rebuilt 1965 "A" code 273 cu-in v8 with Carter AFB carburetor. This is a true 273 HI-PRO car and we do have the original 1966 block. TRANSMISSION; Rebuilt 904 Chrysler Torqueflite automatic witth factory original column shift. REAREND; Stock 8 3/4" with 323 gears, non posi UNDERCARRIAGE; ROCK SOLID, original floors and trunk, very solid original floor pans. This is an original Oregon car, bought new in Portland, only 3 owners, the last owner since 1988. This Dodge Dart convertible is a real treat to drive, it looks, runs, and drives incredible. Every thing works as it should, from the original am radio to the new power top. WHEELS AND TIRES; Crager 14" 5 spoke chrome with P185/70R/14 radials. If you are a fan of the early Dodge Darts you will love this car. Remember there are only 50 miles on a completely rebuilt hi-pro 273 cu-in V8 and 1700 miles on the transmission, front end, top, and interior. This is a rare find especially in this condition, there are not very many of these Dodge Dart convertibles with the 273 HI-PRO left and this is an exceptional one.
