1971 Dodge Charger Super Bee * Two owner numbers matching Original car*
1971 Dodge Charger Super Bee
Gorgeous 1971Dodge Super Bee for sale. Ipurchased this car in the early 90s from the original owners family.
It was purchased new at Claude Short Dodge in Santa Monica CA. andstayed in sunny southern California until
the mid 80s when the family was relocatedto Arizona. It is there that I purchased the car and have been its caretaker
for almost 25 years. The car was a beautiful all intact survivor, the interior and vinyl top is still all original Chrysler
factory installed. The car was always garaged and the sun never took a toll on the car. The sheet metal is pristine
and needed zero repair except for door dings. In 1972 the owners son had a slow speed rear ender w a semi. Both
front fenders were replaced w original pieces as well as the grill. There is a repop fender tag on it, who saved those in
1972? The original hood popped open and wasn't damaged. I would have loved to keep it as a survivor but unfortunately
GY3 while being an awesome color just doesn't last and hadtoo much fading and too much factory primer coming thru.
I decided to restore the car as a driver, Ihad a firewall forward restoration performed. Removing the engine/trans and K
frame rebuilding/replacing everything. I had a large collection of mopars so this one I never drove more than 20 miles in
over 20 years. Yes the engine and transmission are original the car as the VIN number is stamped into each. I have the
original build sheet and warranty papers. The car wasalmost 5K new that's a high priced bee. The car was restored/repaired
to all original. Radiator, carb, manifolds are correctand numbered as original. Beautiful paint job again zero rust ever.
Car sits exactly as delivered except obviously no Polyglass Tires.
You will see the drivers door jamb was left w original paint and originalChrysler Data Sticker w VIN. The Vin is also
stamped on firewall. Its an awesome car and just needs a newcaretaker for the next 20 years. Ive always stored it in my
climate controlledgarage and its only had 108 leaded racing gas in its tank.Ive posted a lot of pics if you need something else
I can try and get it for you. There are no disappointments w this Bee.
