Description:

1969 Dodge Charger

I have for sale my 1969 Dodge Charger R/T project car. This car is an original 440, 4-speed, Dana 60 car that was painted B5 Blue. It is missing the fender tag and there was no broadcast sheet, therefore other options are unknown. The body stampings do match the sequence numbers of the VIN. The original motor, transmission and rear end are long gone. The car currently does not have a motor or transmission. It is a very good project car in need of a full restoration. The quarter panels, trunk floor, rear lower valance, valance corners, tail light panel and the floor pan has been replaced with brand new sheet metal. This is a huge task that has already been done. The rear window corners, where all these chargers seem to have rust, has also already been repaired. To my knowledge, the only rust remaining are a few small and easily repairable spots on the rocker panels, a small spot on the right front fender and a small spot on the deck lid. All of these areas are fully photographed and can be seen at the photobucket link provided below. The car has been shot with black primer to stabilize the car and prevent any surface rust. This is not a pre-paint primer job. Though the body panels have been replaced, the car still needs some striping, sanding and body work before it is ready for paint. At the photobucket site, you will find over 900 pics of this car from the moment I brought it home through the replacement of the body panels. You’ll be able to see exactly what has been done to this car. The wheels and tires on the car ARE NOT INCLUDED in this auction. Only parts shown in auction pics are included. It will be sold with its original 14” road wheels and tires. I have had the DMV check the VIN and it is clean. I do not have a title. The car will be sold with a Bill of Sale only. There are numerous title services on the internet that can assist with getting a title if your state requires one, many states do not on a car this old. Please, look at all the provided pics at the link below before bidding. The pics are very representative of the cars condition.

Please, ask all questions prior to bidding. Thank you.

There are an additional 900 pics of the car at the following link:

PAYMENT INFORMATION: The car is sold as is, no warranty implied or offered. The successful bidder is required to send a $500 nonrefundable deposit within 24 hours of the end of auction via PayPal (other methods may be used if discussed and agreed upon prior to bidding!). If you are not able or willing to meet these criteria, please do not bid until you have discussed options with me. The balance of the auction is due in full within 7 days of the end of the auction. I prefer PayPal (for the deposit ONLY) and an electronic funds transfer for the balance. I will not accept PayPal for payment of the balance except under special circumstances that must be agreed on prior to bidding. I’ll accept other forms of payment such as certified bank check or cashier’s check for the balance, but all funds must clear my bank prior to release of the car. I would like the car picked up within 30 days of the end of the auction. The buyer is solely responsible for arranging the pickup of the car.

ZERO (0) FEEDBACK AND NON-U.S. BIDDERS: If you are a zero (0) feedback bidder or a non-U.S. bidder you MUST contact me before bidding. I will cancel the bid of any zero feedback or non-U.S. bidder that does not contact me prior to bidding. I will require any zero feedback or non-U.S. bidder to provide me with a verifiable physical address and contact information prior to bidding. I realize we were all zero feedback bidders at some point, but unfortunately zero feedback bidders are often also non-paying bidders on automobile auctions.

BIDDER CONFIDENCE: I strive for the most transparent auction possible. As a bidder, you can be confident that the vehicle you are bidding on is described to the best of my ability. I am always happy to provide any perspective bidder my contact information if they wish to speak directly with me on the telephone about the vehicle. If within driving distance, a perspective bidder is welcome to come see the car in person prior to bidding. I am happy and willing to take any reasonable actions (i.e. additional pictures, telephone conversation, in-person viewing of car prior to conclusion of the auction, etc.) to give the bidder confidence that the vehicle being auctioned is indeed in my possession, for sale, and has been described as accurately as I am able. I will conduct myself in a professional manner throughout the auction process and I will be a prompt communicator via email, telephone or text message.
