This is a 1952 Desoto Firedome with a 1999 Chevrolet Corvette LS1 5.7L V8 engine with 3,013 miles. This is a one of a kind custom vehicle believed to be 1 of 3 registered in the United States, the model year 1952.
The engine is paired to a 4L60-E Automatic transmission with overdrive. The car was originally from Florida and was purchased and brought to California in 1998. A custom Candy Apple Red paint job with chameleon ghost flames has been applied to this classic vehicle and looks absolutely stunning from every direction in any light.

The front headlights have been customized with Ford Taurus headlamps with halogen headlight bulbs. The rear tail lights have been modified from the originals and fitted with Cadillac rear tail lights
The car sits on 20" Boyd Coddington wheels with Falken 255/35/20 tires with less than 200 miles on them.
The fuel pump was replaced 2 months ago. The car starts up perfectly from a cold start every time and runs and idles absolutely perfect.
The front hood emblem has been modified with a Fernando Desoto head emblem in place of the original Desoto emblem.

The car sits on a completely rebuilt air suspension that is adjustable with a controller on all four wheels. This is a Convertible Coupe with an electric top with a brand new motor and brand new original rams that allows you to put the top up or down with the push of a button. The top is in fantastic shape.
The rear trunk holds the air suspension system and pump along with a hydraulic rear trunk control system that is controlled with a switch in the main dash board. The front and rear windows are all power and controlled with the panel on the driver door. The door locks are power and controlled from the driver side door.
The interior dash matches the exterior custom Candy Apple red paint job and includes custom gauges, Temperature, voltage, Fuel Level, Oil Pressure, Tachometer (RPM), and a speedometer. The cd player is in place but is not connected or wired up.
The air suspension system includes a controller that allows individual adjustment of the pressure at each axle and wheel with the push of a button. You can control the height level of the vehicle. The suspension in the vehicle allows the driver to adjust it to suit the type of ride they desire. The entire air system was replaced, all four bags were replaced at each wheel.
The car has been garaged stored and covered for the past 15 years.
