Produced between 1971 and 1996. the Corniche was Rolls-Royce's coupe and convertible version of the Silver Shadow. Assembled and finished in London at Mulliner Park Ward as continuation of the '65 Silver Shadow coupe and '67 drophead. the model featured the Corniche name was applied in 1971. For 1986 the Corniche II was revised slightly with the replacement of alloy and rubber bumpers instead of chrome ones. An oil cooler was added to the new model. while an aluminum radiator was substituted. Air bags were not available in the model. but ant-lock brakes became standard. New style rims were added. along with a new reverse warning lens type and pattern around the rear license plate. Other updates included new designed seats and a redesigned dash. All Corniche II's were convertibles. This is a fantastic example and an excellent opportunity to acquire a well sorted out and finely tuned Rolls Royce. This vehicle has been in private ownership of a local Rolls-Royce enthusiasts and Collector. He holds one of the largest local collection of Premiere Rolls-Royce in Southern California many of which are quite vintage and all winning participants of many Concours throughout our region. He drives his cars regularly and each is held to a very high standard of drivability and dependability. This vehicle services are all up to date its fuel injection system has been gone through. Suspension. brakes. shocks ect are all in excellent working order. There are no issues what so ever with this vehicle. The drive is like new and very comfortable. Its mechanicals are all in working order and the vehicle needs nothing to speak of. The exterior paint is in virtually flawless condition the interior is all original and very nice.
