1928 De Soto Six Sedan- survivor, first year of production
1928 DeSoto Sedan
Original, survivor, barn find. 1928 was the year of introduction for Desoto. Chrysler bought Dodge the year before and developed the Desoto product line as their mid range offering. Straight six motor (stuck at this moment, but we're working on that!). Four flat original tires and tubes. Everything original- brush paint black over the original blue body color looks to be 60 years old. Original interior. Rubber on top gone, but ribs in roof and body wood all seem strong. Three spokes on one wheel need to be replaced. Vacuum fuel cannister, one parking light bezel and radiator cap seem to be only parts missing at this time. Clear 1928 title.
