1981 Delorean *ORIGINAL 1 OWNER* DMC12 Gullwing w/ original sticker & pink slip!

1981 DeLorean DMC 12

Up for sale is truly something special that doesn't come around often, a good condition project that is a true ONE OWNER since NEW Delorean!!!Originally titled in 1983 and for sale with all paperwork from time of sale including purchase agreement with all necessary dealer supplied information and thankfully well preserved the VIN matching window sticker. :-) Cosmetically the car still looks great but will need to be gone through as the stainless needs the appropriate products for a good cleaning and the facias will need to be repainted. There are two small dings in the hood as a dime has been used to scale as they are not terrible and I know there a couple ways to get them out. The car starts easily, first time every time, and has had the top end of the motor machined and redone with new gaskets, pulleys, and belts. It is a running and driving project with working brakes, radio, windows, good fuse panel, and most importantly working instrument cluster (pic attached). To make the car a perfect daily driver you will need to go into a few things and there will need to be some time and work put in.All headlights (low & high beams), parking lights, reverse lights, and tail lights work. I did not purchase a new headliner however the fiber boards are still here with the car for recovering but would be best if replaced. Also included are 2 keys one of which is the original, both work fine and lock/unlock the storage box behind the drivers seat. It does need to said that certain things have held up exceptionally well like the shifter boot and seats. The seats are original and the leather is in amazing condition for the age. The car comes with both original blue and yellow CA license plates that have been on the car since originally titled in the 80's. As much as it pains me to think it would be cut up this would make a perfect Back to the Future time machine as it is a gray interior 5speed with the grooved hood.
