This car is a complete Frame off Restoration, t has 0 miles since it was finished, t is a numbers matching car engine number 00585. It has well over 1200 hours of work that was done to bring it back to this like new condition. This is a great opportunity to buy a complete zeromile restoration.
The following work was done to the vehicle:
Frame: The body was lifted off the frame, ll suspension components were removed, ear leaf springs, pper and lower a-arms, dler box, teering box. The bare frame was stripped, nd then powdercoated black. All threaded holes were chased and lubricated. All broken bolts on frame were then removed using a ball burr and then rethreaded. The frame was then reassembled with all new grade 8 hardware.
Suspension:
Front: Upper and lower a-arms were disassembled, owdercoated and reassembled. Many new OEM parts installed. New ball joints were installed. New aftermarket comp springs, ew aftermarket comp bump stop, ew comp sway bar with new bushings. All new urethane boots were installed to tie rods, ew dust cover to idler arm. Brand new shocks. New Koyo OEM bearing to front spindle inner and outer, ew grease seals, ew wheel studs, ew zerk fittings, ew Hardware. All items torqued to specifications.
Rear: Leaf springs removed, ew bushings installed, eaf springs were disassembled, ainted and reassembled. New U Bolts installed, ew Koni shocks
Rear Differential and Axle: Disassembled and the following NOS OEM parts were replaced, inion Bearing, inion Seal, rease catchers, ear Axle Collars, il Seals, ear differential gasket, ear axle bearings Koyo OEM NOS. The following new parts were installed, ew wheel studs, ew shocks Koni’s. New U Joint, riveshaft was balanced and painted. Differntial housing was powdercoated.
Fuel System: New Metal Fuel lines, he following NOS OEM parts, uel filter assembly. The gas tanks was dipped and resealed and painted. New gas tank straps, iller hose and overflow hose. Gas tank filler neck Cad Plated The Carbs were disassembled and then were tumbled. The inner domes were polished and the pistons were drop matched. Carbs were reassembled with new parts, ew needles installed and were centered, ew carb kit, uel float adjusted, alanced with Uni-Syn tool. New Gaskets, pacers on intake, ew choke cables. All new hardware installed. New OEM air filter.
Engine: Disassembled and crankshaft was balanced, ylinders were bore, ew pistons, ew engine rod bearings, ew engine main bearings, ew camshaft jack bearings, ew head stud set new timing set, ew Gasket set, ew Seals, ew oil pump, ew water pump. Long block was completely rebuilt, ylinder head was rebuilt and overhead cam was shimmed to ensure proper cam height. All new engine studs, quart oil pan installed to motor instead of stock 5 qt pan. All work on internal engine performed by Mark Degraff in Los Angeles.
Cylinder Head: New Intake and Exhaust Valves, ew guides, ew springs, ew valves, eats reground, ew head stud kit, ew head gasket. Head was rebuilt and installed by Mark Degraaf.
Cooling: New thermostat 180 degree, ew water pump, ebuilt radiator, row high efficiency core, OS OEM heater core, eater control box disassembled and rebuilt, an/ blower motor disassembled, eplated and rebuilt. New defroster hoses, ew rubber defroster duct, ew heater control valve, ew grommets, ew upper and lower hoses, estored coolant overflow, ew overflow cap.
Ignition: New Gear reduction starter, istributor was disassembled and rebuilt, ll new grease applied to weights and spirngs, ew Spark Plugs, ew Ignition wire set, ew coil, ew cap. New ignition switch with working ignition lock.
Exhaust: NOS megaphone exhaust with new Muffler installed. New braided stainless steel coupler as well as new exhaust tubing and new brackets.
Hydraulics: New clutch Master cylinder, ew clutch zinc plated steel line, ew clutch hose, ew clutch slave cylinder, ew clutch tension spring. NOS Brake Master, ew zinc plated steel brake lines throughout front and rear, ew brake hoses, ew pistons, ew pads, ew shoes. New rotors New rear wheel cylinders. NOS Nissan Remanufactured front calipers and pistons Pedal assemblies were disassembled and painted and reinstalled, ew rubber pedal pads. New Clutch disc, hrowout bearing and pressure plate. New clutch arm boot.
Gauges: All new Gauges rebuilt by Jon Frampton who specializes in aviation gauge restoration in Los Angeles
Electrical: All electrical switches and wiring looms were bench tested. All repairs were made using correct color coded wire and original OEM Faston connectors as well as F Crimp female and male terminals. All crimps made with factory F-Crimp tools to match OEM manufacturing method.
Lighting: New light assemblies to rear and front marker signals. restored reverse lamp. Restored light buckets, ew vintage style amber fog lightsOriginal Toshiba headlights. Turn signal switch disassembled, leaned, eassembled, ubricated, ested and installed.
Chrome: All chrome items on vehicle were triple chrome plated. All rust removed all parts were chromed to show quality. Includes bumpers, verriders, eadlight scoops, rim rings, indshield frame, rill, ew door handles, estored side trim, ew window cranks, icense plate trim. Front headlight buckets correct Satin chrome
Interior: Sound deadening material, ew horse hair pad, arpet kit, ew interior trim vinyl kit, ew dash, enter console restored, love box. Dash, love box lid and shift plate powdercoated correct wrinkle finish black. New door panels, ew kick panels with new clips. Restored radio console, riginal Radio and knobs for model year. New Escutcheons for window cranks, oor escutcheons blasted and repainted. All interior items were reupholstered with correct upholstery.
Plated parts: All door parts were removed, ad plated and reinstalled, ew aluminum CNC window limiters, e-plated all latches trunk and hood. Door locks rekeyed. Top hardware parts replated
Convertible top: Top frame restored, ront bow stripped and repainted. Front bow latches were repainted to original. All new Twists and Posts to body and dash. New Stayfast softtop and new stayfast boot. Both boot and top with all new hardware.
Engine compartment miscellaneous: Washer bag complete, ew radiator brackets, ew battery, ew battery cables, ebuilt alternator with new bearings. Throttle cable new, ebuilt choke cable assembly. Valve cover cleaned and painted with high temp paint for durability. Intake manifold tumbled.
Body: Bare metal restoration, ody was stripped, ll sheet metal items were repaired. Paint is show quality.
Wheels: Original steel wheels were walnut shell blasted, owder-coated original grey color. New valve stems, riginal restored triple chrome plated hubcaps. New Pirelli Tires.
If the Car meets reserve I will include a set of 15 inch Rota wheels and tires with the correct offset.
