1972 Datsun 240Z California Car
2.4L inline 6, numbers matching" with SU carbs and all pollution control equipment including air pump. Runs nice and quiet, ood power, nd no engine smoke. Engine rebuilt few weeks ago with standard bore and standard crank intact. New bearings, ings, nd gaskets installed.
4 speed manual transmission shifts quiet and smooth.
Vehicle has one re-paint in black, riginal color was silver. Currently driver quality paint condition with a few small chips and very small minor scratches here and there. Looks like it had one small fender bender years ago and the driver's side front fender was replaced, his was before I owned the car so I have no further knowledge. No other signs of accident damage other than that.
Car has some very small cracks in dash but overall it is in great condition.
Brakes and suspension are in good working order.
Gauges work except for clock.
New battery installed.
Center console is in beautiful shape and new leather shift boot installed.
Aftermarket radio cd player installed and power antenna goes up and down.
Seats are original and have been re-covered.
Driver's side door panel has 2 very small rips at very bottom, ave to look to find them but thought I should mention it anyway.
Old school JDM headlight covers trimmed in stainless are very rare and costly.
Bumpers have overrider bars installed front and rear.
Custom exhaust system with performance Magnaflow muffler installed.
Radiator recently gone through as was complete cooling system.
Additional accessories include aluminum rocker trim, etal rear window shade and fiberglass front spoiler.
I have 5 Datsun 240Z's and rust is a major issue in Z cars generally. This car is in generally rust free condition as no Datsun 240Z is rust free if it has been driven. The following area have been inspected and found to be almost completely rust free: floor boards, og legs, ockers, enders, ear quarters, atch landing, attery tray, pare tire well, nd lower door frames. The hatch landing has an inch or two of bubbling under the paint but looks to be an easy fix.
This is just a solid and original California Datsun 240Z that can be driven as is today. It runs and drives great with no overheating issues.
Vehicle will be sold with wheels as seen in first picture, ota RB. Also available, nstead of Rota wheels, re rare wire wheels in last picture, hey have older tires on them that will probably need replacement.
I will sell tooverseas buyers and have sold several cars in the past to overseas buyers. I will assist withstorage after vehicle is paid in full.
