1971 AND 1973 Datsun 240z - TWO CARS
For Sale are my 1971 Datsun 240z that I have owned for 23 years and my 1973 Datsun 240Z that I acquired in April 2023.
In the past few years, I have been able to make progress on my 1971 240Z adding performance parts such as the triple Webers, Jet Hot coated headers, four-wheel disc brakes, etc. Unfortunately, after installing a brand new Fujitsubo exhaust ($1200), I was involved in an accident that ‘totaled’ my beloved Z. I decided to buy the car back from the insurance company since I had put so much money and work into her and I felt that she could be saved. Ultimately, because the car now had a ‘salvage rebuildable’ title I decided to buy another Z for its body/chassis (the 1973 240Z) with a clean title to rebuild one Z car from the two.
As I have been working toward starting the project, life changed as it always does, and I need to sell my project as is. I will NOT be parting out or selling the cars separately. This sale is for BOTH cars and the parts that I have indicated and that are shown in the pictures. So, if there is someone out there with a passion for the 240Z and you have a bit of know-how and skill, this will be a great deal for you. In fact, you may end up with two useable Z’s for the price of one. Here is what is included with the sale:
