1971 Datsun 240Z Series 1 vin HLS30-14914 built 11/70 in 901 Silver numbers matching engine with four screw SU carburetors, converted from automatic to Type A manual. Several new parts. Car runs very well!
Vehicle Details
This 240Z was originally purchased from Von Hamm-Young in Hawaii. The car retains the dealer installed air conditioning. The vinyl top and side molding are also believed to be installed by the dealer. The paint does not show signs of a respray or touch ups. The title is clean in my name and notes the mileage as original.
The car was an automatic when I purchased it. It has since been converted to the Series 1 manual with several new parts. The manual transmission used had been serviced prior to my ownership and shifts well.
As demonstrated in the pictures, the car has moderate patina. The battery tray has the worst rust but is solid. The car has been jacked up improperly in multiple locations on the floor pans The vinyl top is in excellent condition, though small localized pockets of rust are evident. The windshield has a small chip. Most panels on the car have some amount of surface rust and no areas visible on the car require metal replacement. The underside is extremely solid and void of rust.
The car will come with a spare windshield, windshield seal, roof, door sill interior plates, original gas tank, and all original automatic transmission parts.
