Additional equipment includes a four-speed manual transmission, aftermarket exhaust components, dual carburetors, a Schneider Racing camshaft, an aluminum radiator, 15″ Watanabe wheels, front and rear spoilers, Brock Racing Enterprises side mirrors, black vinyl upholstery, and a wood-rimmed steering wheel. Work performed shortly after the seller’s acquisition in 2021 involved replacing the right-rear wheel cylinder, shocks and struts, control arm bushings, ball joints, steering gear bushing, and battery. This 240Z is now offered with spare parts, a repair manual, manufacturer’s literature, service records, a car cover, and a Pennsylvania title in the seller’s name.
The rear bumper has been removed, and additional details include matte black-finished front and rear spoilers, Brock Racing Enterprises side mirrors, black-finished badges, a gray tail panel, and tinted taillights and side markers. A replacement driver’s door handle was painted to match the body and installed in 2021. Paint blemishes and dents on the roof and driver’s door are photographed in the gallery below. A pair of uninstalled headlight covers is included in the sale.
Dark-finished 15″ RS Watanabe R-Type wheels are wrapped in 225/50 Toyo Proxes RA1 tires that were reportedly mounted in 2021. A reconditioned brake booster was installed in 2011, and work performed in 2021 involved replacing the right-rear wheel cylinder, rear brake shoes, tie rods, lower control arm bushings, shocks and struts, strut rod bushings, ball joints, spindle pins, and steering gear bushing.
The bucket seats are trimmed in black vinyl and accompanied by diamond-pattern upholstery along the transmission tunnel and rear strut tower covers. Additional appointments include a wooden shift knob, black carpets, and a lockable glove compartment. Impact damage to the floor pans, cracks in the replacement dashboard cover, and tears in the door panels are photographed in the gallery below. The radio and headlight switch are inoperative.
The wood-rimmed steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer, while an analog clock and auxiliary gauges are housed in the center of the dashboard. The five-digit odometer shows 34k miles, approximately 500 of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The 2.4-liter L24 inline-six is equipped with dual carburetors and was overhauled in 2011 with an E88 cylinder head and replacement gaskets. Additional equipment includes a Champion Cooling aluminum radiator, a ceramic-coated 6-to-1 exhaust header, and replacement exhaust components. A Schneider Racing camshaft was installed in June 2012, at which time the rocker arms and springs were replaced. The fuel sending unit was replaced in November 2017, the spark plugs were replaced in January 2021, and the battery and ballast resistor are said to have been replaced in 2023. Work performed in preparation for the sale included repairing a leak in the heater hose and flushing the coolant. The seller notes that the engine bay inspection light lens is missing.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission. The shifter bushings were replaced in January 2021, at which time the transmission and differential fluids were flushed. Rust is noted on underbody hardware, and additional underside photos are provided in the gallery.
