Description:

1982 Datsun Z-Series 2+2

NOTE: This is a NO RESERVE AUCTION for a Very Nice 280ZX, great restoration potential or daily driver with minimal work.
1982 280ZX 2+2 Coupe Manual shift 174k miles. Just out of 11-year covered storage, selling for a friend who is the 2nd owner and who has owned the car for the last 40 years. Originally a California car, until 1988, then moved it to Washington state.
The car is straight, solid and complete, with one dent in hood (pictured) and small amount of rust in the rear lift-gate.
New battery, new clutch master and slave cylinders, new radiator hoses and fuel filter. Clean Washington state title in hand, and has a current registration.
Brakes and struts only have about 2000 miles on them (done just before storage) and still function properly.
The interior is tan leather, it is dry and some seams are splitting (see pictures) two matching front seat covers are included. The paint is in good condition, it is a 15-year-old repaint in blue, the car was originally brown in color.
One T-top is cracked, but both are fully functional and there are no known leaks. Several of the dash gauges are not working, but most do. Radio is inoperative, as is fuel gauge. Head lights and all other driving lights function properly. Even the cute little engine compartment service light works as it should!
NOTE: The car starts and runs, shifts and stops, but does not currently drive, likely due to air/fuel mixture adjustment, or other minor fuel injection-related issue. The engine 'bogs down' under a load and is not currently drivable but is likely just a minor problem. Therefore it will need to be trailered or towed when purchased.
Payment: $500 Deposit through PAYPAL required within 24 hours from auction end. Remaining balance due within 7 days using PAYPAL or Certified Bank Check.
