1982 Datsun 720 Truck all original low milage

1982 Datsun Other king cab

I bought this truck from a family friend who bought it new he had not driven it since 2008 because of old age . He was a engineer that kept very detailed records .He kept a little blue book that logged every time he spent any money on the truck 26 pages of hand written notes along with owners manual chilton's book and all receipts . I included some pics of these documents and can provide more if needed . The first time he put gas in the truck was Aug. 4th 1982 33.8 mileage 10.7 gallons for $12.94 it goes all the way to 2/13/08 81, 27 mileage. Most all work was done at Southlake Nissan in Morrow, Ga. written down in the blue book plus receipts from Nissan. When I purchased the truck the slave clutch cly. was stuck and had to be replaced . I flushed out the fuel system and rebuilt the carb. plus a complete tune up with all Nissan parts. The truck cranks and drives very nice does not smoke the tires are old but have good tread . (The AC does not work I think the compressor is bad but I do not work on ac systems). I did drive it on a 175 mile trip and it did fine. This truck has never been smoked in and still smells nice inside. The bed has indoor/outdoor carpet that I did not remove some of it is stuck to the bed but could be cleaned off and the bed would be very nice. The camper top is also in very nice shape. Some minor body work fix the tailgate and buffing and remove a few dents and this would make a show quality piece. I would love to keep it but already have 8 autos and need the space. Overall it will be hard to find a truck this old and this original and well taken care of.
