Description:

1971 Datsun 240Z

1971 Datsun 240Z with original motor.
There is an extensive list of mechanical upgrades already completed on the car and the only items outstanding are the interior and some minor cosmetic repairs (paint chips and a small PDR on the right rear quarter panel). The car drives and runs great. It will also come with a majority of the new/good condition parts needed to complete the interior as well as backup parts (windows, bumpers, misc engine bay, etc).
The original engine is a fully rebuilt Rebello 2.7, it has a rebuilt 5 speed manual transmission, lightweight flywheel, an upgraded Wilwood big brake kit, and a coil over suspension kit from “Arizona Z car”. It has an upgraded LSD differential. Ceramic headers with heat shield were installed. The engine generates approximately 270 HP and 243 lb ft torque and has triple Weber carburetors. Wiring harness has been mostly rebuilt. The car was never tracked or raced. The fuel tank was completely restored. The underbody and engine bay was coated with rhino liner.
I originally purchased this car about 8 years ago as a project car. It was originally yellow and needed a complete overhaul. It’s been a great project and these cars are far ahead of their time. Only reason I’m selling is due to a relocation that will not allow me to bring this car with me.More details are available for interested buyers.
