Vehicle DetailsI purchased this car with the wish of restoring to it’s original glory. After horrible experiences with bodyshops and mods I’ve given up and ready to depart with this project. Car was a New Mexico car with very dry paint and interior. As far as the metal work on the car The Z only needed new floors and were replaced as well as new bumpers with aftermarket Stainless Steel ones with custom fabricated supports.
Parts replaced were. Tank Fuel Pump,
Fuel lines, Brake Cylinder, radiator, Battery, shocks, brakes, Coil, sparks, cables, as well as all liquids replaced.
Car still needs some TLC as some of the electrical in Dash needs to be sort. Out. When the company did the uphosltery the Dash was covered with leather and all the interior firewall and floor was covered with Dynamat. Seats were modified as seen in the pictures as well as Door Panels and center console. Car starts but Carbs need to be rebuilt as It doesn’t run well. During the brakes and suspension we noticed in the driver area rust in the inside wheel please see pic.. this is the only problem area the I can see on the car as everything was replaced. Also body rubber, suspension rubber has been replaced…
