1968 Datsun SPL 311 Roadster

1968 Datsun SPL 311 . Condition is Used.
This car was rebuilt as a project car in 2013. It, at the time, had some minor bumps and bruises but I could not find any evidence of any structural damage. As the pictures indicate, the full box frame and underbody show no signs of damage or repair.The motor was bored 60 over and fresh 10 under rod and main bearings were installed. New timing chain and oil pump along with a new clutch/pressure plate and throw-out assembly were also installed.As a system upgrade I installed a new aluminum dual core radiator and converted the old points distributer to electronic (with a spare module). I freshened up the head with a valve lap, new seals and a rebuilt rocker assembly.All gages and lighting work, 4 speed transmission shifts smoothly. Seats and head rests, center console and rear cargo shelf were rebuilt. Has OEM locking gas cap and retractable locking antenna (with keys :). Radio and clock do not work. Front and rear brakes are adequate (for their age) but if I were to keep the car, I would either upgrade or rebuild the existing system. Convertible top is in great shape, tires are new, windshield is also new. Included are all extra parts related to this car including a very descent hard top.My wife and I have enjoyed this car but looking for funds for a new project car.....
